To be emphasized in any case the very friendly reception (question whether we wanted to have a coffee was not on the bill) and the warm friendliness and helpfulness of the staff !!!! On request and also with the advice of the staff to enjoy the super freshly prepared breakfast in the sun on your own terrace was the perfect finishing touch! Thank you for the great stay and the heartwarming friendliness !!! Our presidential suite was very tasteful and Lovingly furnished and had a great terrace with loungers and a table with chairs (not always a matter of course, with cushions) and a great view of the sea! The beach is not in the shade, of course nobody can do anything for it, but it was extremely clean and great for walking.
Nothing, because that would be complaining on too high a level ! We gladly recommend :-)

Particularly noteworthy from our point of view are the great service, the wonderful location right on the beach and our great room with balcony directly to the sea (room 5). The sea and the beach are just great and very clean and deserted.
I had imagined the Mossel Bay to be more attractive according to the descriptions in the travel guides. We did not like the place itself at all and from our point of view there is nothing worth seeing. In addition, the place is still active in the oil industry, which is noticeable by an oil drilling platform in sight, tankers and industrial plants. Also the local gastronomy cannot keep up with the restaurants in Cape Town and especially around Stellenbosch. Therefore we found it a pity that the hotel, which is located 6.3 km outside the town centre, did not offer any wishes or dinner. This made the supply situation a little more difficult.

The staff at African Oceans Manor On The Beach were incredible. The views of the ocean from the hotel were exceptional.- The location in the middle of town was marvellous and beautiful.- It was conveniently located near a lovely, clean, and safe suburb.- There was a smaller mall with a Spur restaurant nearby.

Every part of our stay exceeded our expectations. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and very smiley. It was great to have the use of laundry facilities. Our suite was beautiful and very tastefully decorated. Breakfast was delicious and a good choice. Please don't be put off at having drive through the industrial area of Mossel Bay as its well worth it when you get there. Would thoroughly recommend this guesthouse to anyone. If anyone complains after staying at African Oceans then they must be extremely hard to please. You can pay more in the UK and get much less!!
There is absolutely nothing to dislike about African Oceans Manor on the Beach!

The staff were absolutely lovely and very helpful. They have 1 salt water and 1 normal pool, location is directly at the beach. We got a whole suite, 2 rooms, with a massive balcony. Everything was very clean - and there was even fresh milk in the fridge for tea (appreciated by two British tea drinkers!)
The apartments are in a residential area which, although quiet, won't be everyone's preference. There was a bit of an unpleasant smell on the beach - possibly from a nearby factory or water processing plant? Mossel Bay itself - what we saw of it - wasn't up to much and there are certainly better places on the Garden Route.
